Welcome to Glendhu
A stunning and SECLUDED LAKE WĀNAKA Destination
On the sheltered northern facing shores of Lake Wānaka, close to Treble Cone, we present a spectacular new residential and recreational development at Glendhu Bay.
-
Glendhu is a residential development and recreational destination on Lake Wānaka at Glendhu Bay.
The development includes a stunning new golf course, by the designers of Jack's Point and The Hills, is a centrepiece of this rare and unique opportunity.
A community jetty and Lake House on Lake Wānaka take the Glendhu lifestyle to the next level with water sports and fishing virtually on your doorstep.
Winter sports abound with Treble Cone, Cardona and Soho ski areas just up the road.
Mountain biking, running and hiking trails are all found within the 2900Ha Station, linking with the surrounding National Parks and mountain passes.
We are also creating an additional network of trails, further adding to the vast array of recreation opportunities in the area for hiking.
All of this just minutes from the township of Wānaka.

Glendhu Station was originally surveyed in 1859 as a pastural lease for extensive grazing of sheep.
The station has been in the McRae family for four generations. Today the station covers 2900Ha.
Under the McRae family, farming practices have evolved to include conservation and a range of outdoor activities suited to the dramatic landscape setting.

The golf course is being designed and built by the same expert team that delivered the award winning Jack's Point Golf Course, consistently ranked in the top 50 international golf courses by GolfDigest.com, and regularly features in the top three golf course rankings in New Zealand.
Jack’s Point is the winner of the prestigious global tourism IAGTO 2019 Sustainability Award for Nature Protection, recognising the continued significant environmental protection and enhancement work that has gone into the golf course, alongside its residential and village development.
